Pitlessie, or meeting place of the Picts, is a small village on the banks of the river Eden, a 15-minute drive from St Andrews. It was once home to George Heggie, Baillie of Kirkcaldy and owner of Pitlessie Estate and Priestfield Maltings before being converted to a guesthouse in 2010.

Real log fires, antiques, original cornicing, stained glass windows that would do  Charles Rennie Mackintosh proud, are only some of its distinctive features.
